A route for mountain enthusiasts who appreciate the natural beauty of the mountain world as well as well-maintained regional cuisine. The hiking trails lead through the varied Rätikon. The limestone of the Rätikon in contrast to the blooming alpine meadows on the steep walls of the impressive peaks Sulzfluh, Drei Türme, and Drusenfluh shape the character of this hut-to-hut hike. Past the Lünersee, you can experience hydropower up close, and with an overnight stay in Switzerland, you get to know the Prättigau.

Brief description

A varied high mountain route in the Rätikon. Below the mighty Sulzfluh, it goes back to Austria to the Tilisuna Hut.

Public transport

This stage route of the Montafon Rätikonrunde is only accessible on foot.

Directions

You follow the signpost towards Partnun, then reach the entrance to the Gemschtobel. A very easy climbing section secured by a steel chain follows. Nevertheless, you should bring surefootedness and a head for heights for this section.

The ascent to Sulzfluh takes place through the Gemschtobel. It can get very hot here, and you should have enough to drink. Right below the Sulzfluh, you leave the Gemschtobel again, and from there it is not far to the summit.

After a short break at the summit, the path leads over the white limestone towards the Tilisuna Hut.

Alpine mountain path – may include safety ropes and footholds!

Good, ankle-high hiking boots with a good tread, take enough food and drinks, hiking poles recommended
